The Reed Family
Jinkens and I (Jennifer) met almost 4 years ago through some mutual friends. I was away at school in Harrisonburg and he was home in Beaverdam but within weeks of trying to make a long distance relationship work I decided to follow my heart (who knew it would lead me right back to Beaverdam!) I packed up and moved home to be with Jinkens. Things moved fast, we bought our home at the end of 2009 and about a year after that discovered we were pregnant! Now a days we are both busy enjoying life; Jinkens works full time and I get to stay home cooking, cleaning and caring for our 15 month old son Jacob! Oooh, our son :) He is the sweetest, funniest, most adorable, lovable little boy ever! We want to win the 2013 Family Photo Contest for 3 main reasons; 1. I just realized we only have literally a handful of pictures of the 3 of us together! 2. We plan to start trying for another sweet baby at the start of 2013 so free photo shoots could help us to capture those precious moments! and 3. Erica Stanley of Hildebrant Photography has proven to us over and over what an awesome and talented photographer she is and we LOVE working with her! So, here we are; The Reed Family-- VOTE FOR US :) :)
The Cantrell Family
We are a family of 5 kids, my sister and I just had 2 babies(we were both pregnant in this picture) We have a fairly large but photogenic family, which makes it hard for us to get a professional picture done because it is so expensive with 7+ people. We grew up on a organic farm in Montpelier, and all of us have been working making our own money since we were able to walk and help out parents. Sierra, the oldest is a hairstylist at Mango Hair Salon; Kristen is currently in school for dental assisting; Rachel is a junior in high school working at American Eagle; Brenna is a freshman, she barrel races horses and is currently ranked Champion and Western Riders; Jared is in 6th grade and works on the farm; our mom (Sherri) helps all of us and everyone else she can, she works at Trader Joe's and tries her best to keep everyone healthy with organic...well..organic everything; Our dad (Jeff) is a glazier, a farmer and trains horses.
Nahla Cash, (Sierra's daughter) will be a year old January 4th 2013; and Braylenn Arnold, (Kristen's daughter) will be a year old May 14th 2013. I think our family deserves to win because we do a lot for our community in many ways, my mother has changed many families lives by giving them food from our farm so they can eat healthy and just to put food on there dinner table. If someone or there family or even someone we don't even know needs help our family is always willing to help someone out as much as we can. It would be great for us to be able to get a family picture taken for our parents/grandparents/selves. Our grandparents live far away(Montana) and haven't been able to meet there great-grandchildren yet and our parents can not afford a professional picture of all of us. We have all thought about getting our money together to do this for them and to surprise our parents one day, but times are tough and bills come first. It would be awesome for us to be able to win the family of the year contest. As you can see my parents are not in the picture because we don't actually have a picture of us as an actual family yet. We would appreciate it more than anything and definitely put the pictures to good use!
The Short Family
Billy and I were high school sweethearts. We eloped in Vegas on May 27, 2007. One year after we got married we decided we wanted to add to our family.
Brooke was born April 27, 2009 and is just like her daddy. She is so funny and sweet, but she is hard to get a decent picture of because she never sits still. I know now I try to get those perfect happy face family pictures now, but I'll love looking back at her pouty and silly face pictures.
Sophia AKA Sophie was born February 28, 2012. She has been an amazing edition to our family and we all adore her. I can tell already she is very silly, but she is more laid back like me. She loves her big sister and calls for her whenever she doesn't see her.
I hope we win because I love having great pictures of my family and capturing these special moments of my girls childhood.

This is just three of our family members! Dad works two jobs and I work full time so we usually are doing things that revolve around the kids when we are together. The biggest thing about us is family!! We love being together and just playing game and loving each other.

We are the Britt family , Brandon,Maria,Mai-Londen,Lakai and Iliyana.My Husband and I (Maria) met 5 years ago, going on 6. Its surprising where we had met, in ASAP Class lol Brandon and I got married 4 years ago and are enjoying family life. I had two children before we had met and then Brandon and I had our baby girl Iliyana. We are a close and loving family. The kids love spending time with their daddy (Brandon). We spend our time outside as much as we can. Sunday is family day in the Britt house.

This is our family! Albert Candice Chris Makya Tekoa and our news member Dayani. We are a blended family of two cultures. I am Athabascan, which is from Alaska and Albert is Puerto Rican. We love to spend time together playing games, fishing and playing outdoors. Our girls are all amazing in there own ways. Makya is very artistic and Tekoa is a little mommy. And Dayani is growing so fast. Chris our boy is now a young man and will be graduating next year. And that blows my mind. Lol! We hope to win. We have so many exciting things to capture in 2013!!

Our family started on November 17, 2007 and quickly grew by one the following March. Of course daddy wanted a little boy but quickly forgot all about that when our little girl was born. Kaylee weighed in at 9 lbs. 2 oz and has not stopped growing since. The years have flown by and she has blossomed into a smart & beautiful young lady. When we found out that our family was about to grow once more, Kaylee was extremely excited cause she just knew she was getting a little sister. Of course when we found out that it wasn't going to be a girl, Kaylee just cried and cried and cried. She didn't care that she wouldn't have to share her clothes, shoes or even her pink escalade. Austin was born on October 17, 2012 and weighed in at 8 lbs. 11 oz. Kaylee is totally smitten with her brother and is the best big sister EVER.
The Short family is the perfect family to represent Hildebrandt Photography in 2013 because these two babies are what makes us a family. Just look at them, so sweet & photogenic even at such young ages.

My J's... They complete me. The apple of my eyes and the reason I breathe. I couldn't ask for a better family. Jamyson is two and a half (going on 20 it seems) and to me, is my little mini me... You can just see the love overflowing from James when he looks at her. He is the BEST daddy in the WHOLE entire world! She knows who to go to when she really wants something. I have been so deeply blessed with my J's. Sometimes I have to pinch myself because I cannot get over how lucky I am. She is the biggest girlie tomboy in the world who will shoot Nerf guns with her uncles in a tutu. Winning a session and being your 2013 family would be the best ever to show how much this girl has changed our lives so stinkin' much and how much love she has. (Plus, she LOVES the camera!! and would LOVE you)

We are the costello/breedlove family from Midlothian, Va. We are a family of 3 with a little bundle of joy on the way. I'm Sara my fiance is Kevin an our little ones are Arleigh (18 months) and Konner (soon to be here). I work full time as a preschool teacher, working to make a better life for my children. Kevin works as a Manager at a hotel in the engineering department, working all hours of the day/night making any time for family hard. Arleigh is a bight an intelligent little girl who is full of smiles and giggles! Becoming Family of the year would be great for our family so we could capture the moments that are normally missed while Daddy is gone and it wil also give us the family time we need :]
Hi! My name is Krista and these are me and my husband's, Franklin, 2 beautiful children! I am a full time nursing student and I can't wait to graduate in May. My husband is a refrigerator tech and works mainly in Chesterfield. My husband and I actually met on a blind date and we have been inseparable since! We have been together for 4 1/2 years. Our little princess, Lauren, is 3 and 1/2 and our prince, Lane, is almost 5 months. Lane was born almost 7 weeks early and was in the NICU for a little over 3 weeks and since he's been born we haven't had time to get professional pictures done and with the bills, we really haven't had the money to splurge on them either! I used this picture because I realized we only have like 2 pictures of all 4 of us, but this is my favorite of them! And our kids are who we are! I don't think there is any sister out there who loves her brother more than my baby girl does! We would really love to win so we could fill our walls with amazing pictures of our fabulous kids! My name is Monica McGraw and my husband, Will, and I have been together for 9 years, married for 2 years. I guess you could consider us High School sweet hearts even though we didn't go to the same school, just dated through High School (and College).
We recently had our first child, Tristan Gayle McGraw. She was a surprise but has been the best blessing that we could have ever been given. I had a hard labor and was over my due date when she was born. Will was with me every step of the way. He went to every doctors appointment while I was pregnant and to every one of Tristan's since she was born. He truly is my soul mate and best friend!
I would like for my family to be the 2013 Family of The Year so we can capture the most important moments in Tristan's life! My parents divorced when I was 10 and I don't have any pictures from my childhood due to my mom moving us around a lot when we were younger. The pictures got left behind at various places. I take a picture of Tristan with my cell phone every day so at the end of the year, we can make a photo book of the first year for her, but would love to have professional pictures that she can look at and cherish for years to come. Pictures she can share with her children! :D

Meet the Gross family. We are a loving family that revolves around our children. Hannah is 6 and wants to be a doctor. She is always trying to learn something new. Elizabeth (AKA Bizzie) is a little princess. She is 5 and loves to do things her own way. And we now have an Adam! He is brand new to our group, and we waited for him for years! He is the best addition to our family. The 3 Grossling’s love each other so much. My girls go out of their way to help with Adam. And he certainly loves the attention his sisters shower on him, he even gave them his first smile and first giggle!
